They not only learn to deal with setbacks, but also learn to deal with the emotional setback and jump back into ‘purposeful’ action faster.
A simple action that all of us can take (and if you are a parent who wishes to foster resilience in your kids), is to expose ourselves to situations beyond our comfort zone. Simply start with small things and fine-tune your ‘resilience’ muscle as you go along.
