2.Call out biases, at home and at work. 

Asking daughters to do the household chores and sons to take on tasks like mowing the lawn may seem like trivial issues to some, but remember that such events are responsible for creating the centuries-old bias that we are now struggling to overcome.

3.Share the value of DEI with everyone you know!

Find that opportunity to chat all things DEI with your parents, spouse, kids, relatives, and friends. It’s a great way to raise awareness and ensure future generations aren’t stuck with the same biases we may have faced growing up. 

When each one of us embraces DEI in our personal lives, it will positively spill over to our professional lives and transforms our workplace cultures.
