Angelina’s journey began when her dad brought home the first book for the family collection. She quickly graduated to comics, teenage fan magazines, and even appreciated graffiti. The voracious consumption of words, images and sounds went unabated for years. Thats how she found her deep love for language and knowledge, which allowed her to write and speak...exceptionally well, and also ignited her creative thought processes. All the requisite ingredients for a long and brilliant career in all things communication.
Angie loves helping people find their potential and bearing in the world of powerful communications.
She has lectured / trained in a variety of communications programs at Diploma and Degree levels. She holds a degree in Journalism and English from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin, USA. She also has a Master in International Tourism and Hospitality Management. And is fully certified in ACTA (Advanced Certification in Training and Assessment). She is now completing her DACE (Diploma in Adult Continuing Education) and is also enrolled in CDITT (Cambridge Diploma in Teaching and Training).
Angie also a lot of media coaching and corporate training; she has previously worked alongside with Kaplan, PSB Academy and NTUC Learning Hub to train corporate executives in Email Communications, Crisis Communications as well as Business Communications Presentation / Writing, respectively.
She also collaborated with National University of Singapore – Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) to bring to their graduating students a program that readies them for the workplace. She also teams up with NUS Extension to deliver talks to visiting students from Chinese universities.
Beginning her career in the creative departments of global advertising agency, Saatchi and Saatchi Singapore, Angie has 30 years of diverse corporate / agency experience.
